History

Change for a Change was started in February 2013. I started it as my Gold Award for Girl Scouts, after a service project that I had done for two years in my own church. In Change for a Change, donations  (typically coins) are collected after services for 1-2 weeks. This money is then donated to families in the area the church is located, who are in need of financial assistance. The money is never given to anyone but the families or individuals who need it. Right now, I am in the process of trying to gather churches who would be willing to pledge to complete this project for one month this year.
